February 2018
Time just seems to be ticking right along. Our mini-retreat and our Staycation Beach Party were very successful and a lot of fun! So we look forward to the month of February with all of it's upcoming fun and activities in the shop.
Our workshop with artist Lynne Underwood is set to begin with Sentinel on the 12th.
And of course there's Valentine's Day (or as my daughter likes to call it, Singles Awareness Day). We will have refreshments and fun (as well as a few specials) all day on the 14th. We hope you can stop in.
We have received shipment of the next release of Outback Wife from Ella Blue Fabrics. Gorgeous barkcloth that can be used for quilts, bags and garments.
We will also have our first line of Tilda Fabrics called Lemon Tree any day now. So pretty!
And have you seen the fantastic Jelly Roll Rugs? One jelly roll, 1.25m of batting and the pattern and you're off and running! These are really fun! And once you've got one under your belt you'll be proficient enough to play and use up your batting and fabric scraps too! We've got the patterns and all the fixin's!
Our classes continue to be popular and produce some really great projects. This month our Gypsy Wife and Illusions classes will launch in addition to perennial favourites like Hand Quilting, Machine and Ruler quilting and of course our ever popular Learn to Quilt.
And we are starting to think about Spring and Summer classes (which isn't as far off as it seems).
So enjoy your month and we hope you'll stop in even if it's just to say "hello!"
