It's already the middle of July and I can say whole-heartedly that we haven't had a warm summer like this in many years. So I am enjoying the sun and the bright that only prairie summers can bring.
Things at the shop are bopping along. At a little slower pace because like me everyone is out enjoying the great weather. That said, we are finding time to create kits, make samples and plan for the fall classes.

Love Me Loves Me Not - A sweet fabric depicting a mouse plucking daisy petals, she loves me she loves me not....we sure love this one!
And Snow Day - a smaller modern print depicting winter vignettes from U.K. Company Lewis and Irene.
I'm also madly working on a shop sample for a return of Lella Boutique's Aviator pattern. We've brought the kits back but this time with wonderful navys and greys. Hopefully I will have it finished up in the next few weeks!
Our Fall class schedule is in the works as well. We have some fun classes and some wonderful guest instructors so stay tuned for that! Registration will start mid-August.
The classroom is available for use during the summer. I'm often there sewing so give us a call if you'd like to join in! And that's about it for shop news! Continue to enjoy this gorgeous
