how amazing? yes that is a grape there to show you the scale of the piecing!
and it's a pretty big top!
stylish footware
more batiks for a project
door prize #1-- won by (Lois?)
Door prize #2, won by someone else
door prize #3, won by E?
as you may be able to tell, my mind is faltering, and i can't remember every detail.
however, it was a nice day, and I even got over to the art sale,
It was great to see so many customers and friends! and the sun was out!!

  1. Can't believe someone actually finished the Omigosh quilt. What a coincidence! I started mine about three years ago and just pulled it out again today to give it another go. Spent 2 hours just pressing some of the one and a half inch nine-patches.

    1. That's interesting that you're doing one too! I had never seen one before, but when I looked at it I said, OMG, and she laughed and said that was exactly what the quilt was called. Is yours in similar colors or did you use a different sort of color way? Wouldn't it be nice in 1930's reproductions?

    2. Hi Michelle
I'm doing mine in bright batiks.
      Yes, 1930's would be nice.
I had planned to enter mine in the last two guild shows, so that's how long it's been kicking around. Maybe the next one??

    3. whenever it gets done, it will be nice to see it to ooh and ahh over!
